Carol Heffernan, B.S., M.S., CPE

Carol Heffernan, Senior Consultant and Ergonomics Engineer for Humantech, has performed ergonomic risk assessments, motion studies, and productivity analyses in the chemical processing, automotive, packing/shipping, aerospace, electronics, and computer industries, and in hospital and office environments. She has more than a decade of experience in delivering performance-centered training programs ranging from basic ergonomics awareness to core team and management training.

Carol’s clients include Anderson Windows, Tenneco Packaging, ALCOA, and LA Times. In addition, Carol has had the opportunity to lead a large-scale ergonomics project initiative at Rocky Flats Nuclear Waste Facility in Golden, CO. Carol also represents Humantech at a wide variety of multiple-day workshops throughout the United States.

Carol received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo, and her Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

Carol has achieved recognition as a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).
