Kent Hatcher, Managing Consultant and Ergonomics Engineer for Humantech, specializes in managing large-scale ergonomic initiatives in the manufacturing and health care industries, as well as facilitating group training sessions and developing internal ergonomic expertise. Kent promotes a macro-ergonomic philosophy of system efficiency, showing companies how to integrate human-factors engineering into production operations. Kent has performed hundreds of training sessions for various clients, including Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Covidien, Genie Industries, Kuwait National Petroleum, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He has delivered numerous presentations on occupational ergonomics at national conferences, including the Applied Ergonomics Conference and the American Industrial Hygiene Association Professional Development Conference. Kent received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, and his Master of Science in Ergonomics from Loughborough University, Loughborough, United Kingdom. He has achieved recognition as a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). |
