Miguel Gonzalez, B.S., M.S., CPE

Miguel Gonzalez, Senior Consultant and Ergonomics Engineer for Humantech, supports ergonomic project deployments, performs ergonomic assessments and on-site data collection, conducts ergonomics awareness training, facilitates Humantech’s RAPID® Team Events, redesigns workspaces, writes reports, and performs client research. Miguel has consulted with clients from diverse industries representing the steel, stamping, textile, packaging, automotive interiors, automotive seating, and heavy truck and automotive manufacturing fields. Prior to joining Humantech, Miguel worked as a Senior Ergonomics Engineer for Lear Corporation (North American Seating Systems Division). He has also worked as an Ergonomics Engineer for Ford Motor Company (Vehicle Operations) where he was responsible for the manufacturing ergonomics for the launch of the 2004 F150 in Norfolk, VA, and developed a manual emphasizing ergonomic guidelines for material presentation and packaging. His previous work at Chrysler Canada (Windsor Assembly Plant) involved developing training manuals that emphasized basic ergonomic comprehension and the importance of ergonomics in a manufacturing environment. Miguel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a Master of Science degree in Applied Human Performance from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. He has also achieved recognition as a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). |
