New for this spring is a one-day lean seminar - Leveraging Ergonomics in Your Lean Initiative. This seminar is intended for those who would like to incorporate ergonomics into the lean manufacturing process. It will provide a building block for an integrated lean/ergonomics process in its infancy stage, as well as amplify and accelerate currently successful ergonomics processes. This hands-on, interactive workshop will allow attendees to bring a customized plan for integrating their company's ergonomics tools into its existing lean process back to their work site. This seminar is being offered in conjunction with the Applied Industrial Ergonomics course in Ann Arbor and Nashville.
Applied Industrial Ergonomics will be held in Newport Beach and Chicago, in addition to Ann Arbor and Nashville. This two-day seminar focuses on practical approaches to improving problem jobs, increasing productivity, and reducing injuries in an industrial environment. Attendees will learn to evaluate workstations and equipment, identify contributing factors to work-related musculoskeletal disorders, and prioritize ergonomic improvements to maximize return on investment.
Applied Office Ergonomics, a one-day seminar offered in San Francisco and Alexandria, is also being offered with the Applied Industrial Ergonomics courses in Newport Beach, and Chicago. It focuses on achieving a comfortable, healthy, and productive office environment.
