Happy Seat Offers Ergonomic Benefits
5/18/11
I recently came across a webpage article that featured the Ford Happy Seat and how it has helped improve comfort for its assembly line workers. Similarly, Toyota Motor Manufacturing also uses a seating aid for assembly they call a ‘Raku Seat’. These are both great examples of how innovative thinking and design can be applied to reduce ergonomic risk as well as increase production efficiency. Do you have an assembly aid that has made work easier, faster, or more comfortable for your employees? If so, I’d like to know more about it! Tell us more about it, or email me here .
