More and more office professionals are outfitting their workspace with two monitors. Toggling between tabs or reference documents on one document can reduce task efficiency, and viewing multiple documents on one screen can cause eyestrain (the more files displayed at once, the smaller the text size).
When setting up your second monitor, be sure to:
Place the primary monitor directly in front of you to avoid prolonged neck twisting. The secondary monitor should be set up next to the primary for quick referencing.
Place both monitors about an arm’s length away.
Position the tops of the monitors at or just below eye level.
