The job we highlighted this week was the entry “Plunger Loader” from the 2012 Find It – Fix It Challenge. Prior to the job being fixed, to fill a plunger the technician had to step up on the base of the plunger loader and crane his/her neck to see inside the bin. This task resulted in awkward neck postures and extended reach.

Let’s see how they fixed that job!

Solution Description:

The company installed a mirror on the ceiling which allowed the operator to look in the mirror when filling a plunger.
