Humantech Wins Premier Awards Contest

Ergonomics Done Right®

Humantech, experts in workplace improvements, announced today that it has been recognized as one of Metro Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For™. The competition identifies and honors organizations throughout the region that display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment.  An awards ceremony will be hosted by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA) on Tues., Sept. 23rd at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

To be considered, companies must go through a rigorous two-part survey process that requires the participation of all employees. After the employer completes a questionnaire, all employees must complete an engagement survey.

Once the surveys are complete, an independent research firm evaluates the data based on the following key measures: compensation; benefits and employee solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; recruitment, selection and orientation; employee achievement and recognition; communication and shared vision; diversity and inclusion; work-life balance; community initiatives; strategic company performance; and, the best of the best small business.

“We’re indeed pleased to be recognized for the success of our programs, policies and culture in creating an effective and flexible workplace. However, what makes this honor very special is that our employees have confirmed this finding,” says Humantech President, Jim Good.

“We are honored to recognize the efforts of this year’s “Best and Brightest” companies. The winning companies have created impressive organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in human resource management. This award has become a designation sought after by hundreds of Metro Detroit’s area companies and is a powerful recruitment tool in the drive to attract and retain exceptional employees,” says MBPA President Jennifer Kluge.

The overall process is designed to make the companies perform better, which in turn makes the region a better place to live and work in. The contest is conducted annually in several markets, including Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Milwaukee, San Francisco and Grand Rapids.
