Humantech, experts in workplace improvement, announced today that it has again been recognized as one of Metro Detroit’s “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®” 2015. The competition identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment. This program helps to create meaningful change in companies that improve costs, operations and efficiencies. An awards ceremony will be hosted by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA) on Thurs., Sept. 17th at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
To be considered, companies must go through a rigorous two-part survey process that requires the participation of all employees. After the employer completes a questionnaire, all employees must complete an engagement survey.
Once the surveys are complete, an independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories: compensation; benefits and employee solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; recruitment, selection and orientation; employee achievement and recognition; communication and shared vision; diversity and inclusion; work-life balance; community initiatives; strategic company performance; and, the best of the best small business.
