The project analyzed the systems and effectiveness of seventeen Fortune 500 domestic companies managing workplace ergonomics.
The ergonomics program of each participating organization was evaluated and categorized into three levels of program maturity: reactive, proactive, and advanced. The study also evaluated each company’s office ergonomics, engineering involvement, impact of the economy, and methods for upstream engineering.
